The carbon is intended for marine aquariums. According to the manufacturer, it suits mixed-reef aquariums, where it removes the substances produced by the chemical war between corals. The manufacturer also names ULNS aquariums heavily stocked with SPS corals.
The carbon comes as granules. Because it is activated by steam, it contains no phosphate, according to the manufacturer. It also removes medication residues and compounds accumulated in the water.
The manufacturer recommends 100 ml of carbon per 100 l of aquarium water. Rinse it with RODI water before use. It can be used in a fluidised filter or in a filter mesh bag, with a recommended water flow of 500 l/h. Replace the carbon every 4 weeks.
Available in 1000 ml and 5000 ml packs and as a set of 2 × 250 ml.
Documents are the manufacturer's official files and open on the manufacturer's site.
Items come from the supplier's warehouse (supplier 5–10 plus carrier 1–3 business days).
