AquaEL Multikani 1000 Filter

The AquaEL Multikani 1000 is a modular canister filter for aquariums of 25–400 l. One to three add-on modules can be attached to the main module, so the media space grows to up to 5.2 litres as the aquarium's needs grow.

The pump delivers 1000 l/h, draws 9.1 W and lifts water up to 120 cm; the filter measures 21 × 21 × 21 cm and takes 14/16 mm hose. One module holds 1.3 l. Compared with the Multikani 800, the motor sits in the lid and the lid closes with four buckles instead of special wrenches. Vibration-dampening feet keep it quiet.

Each module takes any AquaEL biological or chemical media; an empty add-on module and ready modules with BioCeraMAX 600, ZeoMAX, CarboMAX and a sponge are sold separately. The Aqua Stop system keeps the water in, so the motor cover can be removed to add modules without spilling. The flow is adjustable.
