AquaEL MEDIA PACK FZN PRO CARBON 3PCS

AquaEL Media Pack FZN PRO Carbomax contains replacement filter cartridges for the AquaEL FZN PRO cascade filter. The Carbomax cartridge is filter wadding with activated carbon: besides mechanical filtration it removes chemical impurities and discolouration from the water.

Depending on the model, an FZN PRO filter takes 1–6 cartridges – 1 in the FZN PRO 400, 2 in the 700, 4 in the 1000 and 6 in the 1500. Standard, Carbomax and Phosmax cartridges can be freely mixed to suit the aquarium.

Put the cartridge into its housing and the housing into the basket; the basket goes into the filter in one movement. The manufacturer recommends replacing cartridges at least every 2–4 weeks and, if possible, one at a time over a few days rather than all at once, so the nitrifying bacteria can settle on the new material.

The pack contains 3 cartridges.
