AquaEL ZeoMAX Plus 1L

AquaEL ZeoMAX Plus is a chemical filter medium made of natural zeolite for freshwater aquariums, paludariums and aquaterrariums. Zeolite is full of channels and chambers, which gives it a very large binding capacity.

ZeoMAX Plus binds ammonia as well as nitrite and nitrate ions, so according to the manufacturer water changes can be smaller and less frequent. One litre is meant for an aquarium of 150–250 l. It suits external and overflow filters, internal filters with a chamber for loose media (e.g. Turbo Filter) and sumps.

The medium is ready to use and needs no rinsing. Place it in the filter after the mechanical and biological filtration. Zeolite gradually becomes saturated, so replace it at least every 4 weeks.

The pack contains 1 l of zeolite.
