Pogostemon quadrifolius

Pogostemon quadrifolius from Laos is a distinctive stem plant closely related to Pogostemon stellatus. Because of its growth form it is often called Pogostemon stellatus 'Octopus'.

Very easy to care for and grows strongly in a wide range of conditions – a reliable choice for new and experienced aquarists. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

Regular trimming keeps it compact, as it quickly forms new shoots. Replanting top cuttings gives dense growth; side shoots develop more slowly and suit smaller aquariums and nano cubes.
