Cabomba aquatica is a South American stem plant with beautiful foliage. The stems grow 30–80 cm long and 5–8 cm wide.
It is the least demanding Cabomba, but it struggles in poorly lit aquariums – there Tropica suggests Limnophila sessiliflora, which needs less light. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).
According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 20–30 cm tall or more. Light demand is medium. CO2 demand is low. The plant comes from South America.
The stems of the bunch are held by an anchor – remove it and split the stems into separate plants. Strip the leaves from the lowest 5 cm and any damaged leaves, then plant them with some distance in the substrate – roots soon develop.
The plant is sold as a bunch.
