3 balls in blister
€11.99
Aegagropila linnaei, the moss ball, is not really a plant but a ball of algae 3–10 cm wide. In nature it is found in shallow lakes, where the movement of the waves forms it into a sphere. Tropica calls it a decorative exception to the rule that algae should be avoided. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 3–10 cm tall or more. The plant is found all over the world.
In the aquarium the ball must be turned regularly to keep its shape. It can be divided into smaller pieces, which become round with time or form a carpet when attached to roots and stones.
Available as a portion and as three balls in a breathable blister.
