Anubias barteri var. nana 'Pinto'

Anubias 'Pinto' is a selected cultivar of Anubias barteri whose 3–6 cm leaves show patterns of white, light green and dark green. The pattern depends on conditions, and some leaves may turn fully dark green.

Its slow growth asks for patience, and the light needs to be balanced. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average up to 5 cm tall. The plant grows slowly. Light demand is medium. CO2 demand is low. It is a cultivar, a form bred in cultivation.

Good light strengthens the white pattern, but too much light can damage the leaves and bring algae. Attach it to rock or wood and never cover the rhizome, as it can rot.
