The AquaEL FZN PRO is a hang-on cascade filter for tanks from nano and shrimp aquariums up to 300 litres. The falling water makes a natural wave, so it also suits a small marine aquarium; all parts are corrosion-resistant.
The AquaEL FZN PRO is a hang-on cascade filter for tanks from nano and shrimp aquariums up to 300 litres. The falling water makes a natural wave, so it also suits a small marine aquarium; all parts are corrosion-resistant.
There are four models – FZN PRO 400 (10–75 l, 4.5 W, 320 l/h, 1 cartridge basket), 700 (75–130 l, 6.2 W, 700 l/h, 2 baskets), 1000 (130–200 l, 7.1 W, 900 l/h, 4 baskets) and 1500 (200–300 l, 13 W, 1370 l/h, 6 baskets). The motor sits under water, so the filter starts at once without priming, also after a power cut. According to the manufacturer, the largest model runs at 32 dB.
The output is set with a knob on the lid and the filter's position to the water level with a round controller. The chamber takes ready-made cartridges or your own loose media in layers. Models 700–1500 have a telescopic intake tube, the baskets lift out in one movement, and a surface skimmer that needs no extra power can be fitted to the tube.
