AquaEL Filter ULTRAMAX

The AquaEL Ultramax is a large-capacity external filter for freshwater and marine aquariums. Its patented prefilter, double ball valves and self-priming make it easy to use.

There are three models – Ultramax 1000 for aquariums of 100–300 l (20 W, 1000 l/h, 3 baskets), 1500 for 250–450 l (20.5 W, 1500 l/h, 4 baskets) and 2000 for 400–700 l (21.5 W, 2000 l/h, 5 baskets). Each basket holds 1.9 l; with the prefilter there is 6.3–10.1 l of space for media.

The 0.6-litre prefilter in the lid traps larger debris and can be rinsed without taking the filter out of the cabinet. When the hoses are disconnected, the double ball valves close both the filter and the hoses, so no water runs onto the floor. 2–4 strokes of the plunger fill the filter, and the flow is set with the lever on the right valve.

The set includes cartridges for mechanical and biological filtration and installation accessories.
