Taxiphyllum barbieri 'Bogor Moss'

Taxiphyllum barbieri is a hardy moss from South-East Asia that makes few demands on water or light. It becomes 3–10 cm thick and grows willingly on any surface.

It suits decorating stones and roots or hiding equipment; in breeding tanks it gives young fish a hiding place. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 3–10 cm tall or more. The plant has a medium growth rate. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. The plant comes from Asia.

Attach it with fishing line or cotton thread until it takes hold on the decor. If it grows too lush, trim it with scissors.

Available in a 1-2 Grow cup, as a portion and on lava stone.
