Full description
Hygrophila corymbosa is an undemanding starter plant from Asia that spreads fast in the aquarium with long, wide bright green leaves.
Tropica calls it an undemanding plant for beginners. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).
According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 20–30 cm tall or more. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. The plant comes from Asia.
It grows fast and must be pruned often; new shoots form on the stem, and cuttings root quickly in the substrate. The stems of the bunch are held by an anchor – remove it and split them into separate plants. Strip the leaves from the lowest 5 cm and any damaged leaves, and plant them with some distance in the substrate.
The plant is sold as a bunch.
