Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder

Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder is a complete aquarium substrate that can be used without any other bottom layer.

It suits setting up a new aquarium or the foreground where a finer substrate is wanted, especially for small and foreground plants.

Fine grain size of 1–2 mm. It consists of naturally occurring volcanic minerals. According to the manufacturer it gives good conditions for root development. It affects water chemistry and naturally lowers the pH.

During the first 4 weeks after setup, change 25–50 % of the water at least twice a week. The amount in litres is the tank length, width and layer depth in centimetres multiplied and divided by 1000; a thicker layer towards the back gives a fine effect.

Available in 3 l and 9 l packs.
