AquaEL ULTRA FILTER 1400

The AquaEL Ultra 1400 is the largest external filter of the Ultra range, for aquariums of 260–600 l. It is designed and made in Suwałki, Poland, and its design means it rarely needs cleaning.

The filter draws 14.8 W, the canister holds 16 l and there are 5 baskets of 1.9 l each inside. The maximum head is 170 cm, the hoses are 16/22 mm and it measures 27 × 29 × 48 cm. According to the manufacturer, the ceramic impeller shaft and vibration absorbers make it almost inaudible.

The built-in shut-off valve closes the hoses during maintenance, so the filter does not need refilling with water. The patented self-priming system fills it in 2–4 strokes of the plunger, and the flow is adjustable.

The set includes hoses, elbows, overflow pipes, a spray bar, a Standard 20 PPI sponge, polypropylene wadding and a BioCeraMAX 600 cartridge.
