AquaEL Filter HYPERMAX 4500 BT

The AquaEL Hypermax 4500 BT is a large external filter for aquariums of 200–1500 l, controlled over Bluetooth in the Aquael BT app. Two inlet and two outlet hoses keep the water moving throughout the tank, so no dead zones form.

The pump delivers up to 4500 l/h, draws 18–36 W and lifts water up to 200 cm. There is 15.9 l of media space (including a 1.5 l prefilter). In the app you switch the filter, set the flow and choose a mode – constant, pulsed, sine wave or intermittent; there is also a Day/Night mode, a feeding schedule with reduced flow and a PIN lock. It runs on a safe 24 V, and the pump switches off if the rotor jams.

The prefilter in the lid can be rinsed without taking the filter out of the cabinet, the double ball valves keep the water in when the hoses are disconnected, and 2–4 strokes of the plunger fill the filter.

The set includes hoses, elbows, overflow pipes, a spray bar, 10, 20 and 30 PPI sponges and two empty baskets.
