Murdannia keisak
Not available
Murdannia keisak is a bamboo-looking stem plant that is not a grass. It comes from Asia, where it often grows in rice fields; the leaves are light green, about 1 cm wide and 3–5 cm long. Growth is upright, but it branches readily when cut back; with CO2 and strong light the stem tip turns reddish. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 5–20 cm tall or more. The plant comes from Asia.
Because it grows quickly, the longest shoots need regular cutting back, and some tops can be replanted to keep a varied group.
The plant is sold in a pot.
