Limnophila sessiliflora is a pretty, undemanding stem plant from South-East Asia that used to be called 'Ambulia'. The stems grow fast up to 40 cm tall and 3–4 cm wide. Tropica calls it a good alternative to Cabomba that does not need much light; it looks good in groups. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 15–30 cm tall or more. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. The plant comes from Asia.
In poor light it tends to grow leggy, which added CO2 can partly counteract. In good conditions it sends out runners and spreads across the bottom.
Available in a pot, in a pot in a blister pack, in a mini pot and with a Plant Clip.
