Bacopa monnieri 'Compact'

Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' is a more compact cultivated form of the stem plant Bacopa monnieri that grows almost creeping in good light. It also grows well in the shade of other plants.

It suits a slightly taller carpet or a bushy plant in the middle or front of the aquarium. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).

According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 3–10 cm tall or more. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. It is a cultivar, a form bred in cultivation.

Pinching off all upright shoots keeps growth low and dense, as the plant forms many side shoots. Without CO2 and with less light it grows more upright and less compact.

Available in a pot, in a pot in a blister pack and with a Plant Clip.
