Anubias gracilis is a West African Anubias with triangular 5–10 cm leaves on long stems.
It is hardy and tolerant, a very good beginner's plant according to Tropica. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).
According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 10–20 cm tall or more. The plant grows slowly. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. The plant comes from Africa.
It can grow on rock, on wood or in the substrate. If planted in the substrate, do not cover the rhizome – otherwise the whole plant rots. It can grow out of the water, but then becomes quite large.
Available in a pot and with a Plant Clip.
