It suits nano aquariums and the small details of larger ones; it does not like bright light. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an easy plant (Easy).
According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 3–10 cm tall or more. The plant grows slowly. Light demand is low. CO2 demand is low. It is a cultivar, a form bred in cultivation.
It thrives attached to rocks and roots. If planted in the substrate, do not cover the rhizome, as the plant can rot. When it becomes too dense, divide it carefully and place the new plants elsewhere.
The plant is sold in a 1-2 Grow cup.
