Juwel EccoSkim

The Juwel EccoSkim is a compact surface skimmer for freshwater aquariums. It removes film and organic residues from the water surface, so more light reaches the bottom and, according to the manufacturer, the oxygen content rises.

The skimmer has an Eccoflow pump delivering 300 l/h at 4.4 W; it measures 8 × 3.5 × 17.5 cm with a 238 cm cable. A float follows the water level, so the skimmer always sits at the right height.

In a Juwel aquarium the EccoSkim attaches directly to the internal filter with the filter mount, and surface dirt goes straight into the filter. In other glass aquariums, use the suction mount. The skimming strength is set by turning the control tube.
