Full description
JBL ProAquaTest CO2-pH Permanent Refill is the replacement reagent for the JBL CO2-pH permanent test, which lets you monitor the carbon dioxide (CO2) content and pH of a freshwater aquarium continuously.
The indicator liquid is separated from the tank water by an air cushion: CO2 passes through it, humic acids do not. The indicator covers pH 6.4–7.8. The manufacturer recommends keeping CO2 at 15–30 mg/l.
Pour 35 drops of indicator into the clear container of the test and mount the device upright with its suction cup where the water flows well and away from the CO2 diffuser. The reading shows after 2–3 hours: yellow means too much CO2, green is right and blue is too little. Change the liquid every 3–4 weeks at the partial water change. The test does not work with liquid carbon.
The pack contains the reagent only, without accessories.
