JBL Test PRO NO3 Nitrate Test
€16.99
Description
Product overview
JBL Test PRO NO3 is a colour test for measuring the nitrate (NO3) content of aquarium water. It is needed when the aquarium is fertilised – high nitrate levels can be dangerous to fish, and plants do well with neither too little nor too much nitrate. The result helps you choose the right fertiliser doses.
Key benefits
- The test suits freshwater and marine aquariums and ponds.
- The manufacturer recommends 0–50 mg/l for a community freshwater aquarium and 10–30 mg/l for a planted aquarium with few fish.
- For marine aquariums the manufacturer recommends 0–20 mg/l and for ponds 0–10 mg/l.

The test suits freshwater and marine aquariums and ponds. The manufacturer recommends 0–50 mg/l for a community freshwater aquarium and 10–30 mg/l for a planted aquarium with few fish. For marine aquariums the manufacturer recommends 0–20 mg/l and for ponds 0–10 mg/l. The comparator and colour scale help read the result accurately.
Fill both test tubes with 10 ml of sample water using the syringe and add the reagents to one of them. Shake hard for exactly one minute so the colour develops properly, then read the result off the colour scale.
The set includes test tubes, reagents, a syringe, a measuring spoon, a comparator, a colour scale and instructions.
