Reef Salt is a marine salt for all reef aquariums, from demanding tanks dominated by SPS corals to tanks with soft corals or LPS. Its blend of micro- and macroelements is enriched with amino acids, which according to the maker play a significant role in the growth of corals and polyps, and with vitamin C. The salt dissolves easily. Every batch is analysed on two ICP-OES spectrometers, and the salt is made in the EU under laboratory supervision.
Start with demineralised water at about 24 °C. For a salinity of 33 ppt (SG 1.025), add about 390 g of salt to 10 l of water and stir vigorously for about 15 minutes until the salt has fully dissolved and the water is clear. Check the salinity with a refractometer before use.
