Aquaforest N Boost Nitrogen Fertiliser

Aquaforest N Boost is an easily absorbed nitrogen fertiliser for aquatic plants. According to the manufacturer, nitrogen influences plant growth, propagation and the green colour of the leaves.

The fertiliser is intended for planted aquariums.

It contains mineral forms of nitrogen. Plants take up nitrogen mainly as nitrate and ammonium. According to the manufacturer, the nitrate level in a planted aquarium should be 10–20 mg/l. A shortage slows growth and turns the leaves yellow, while an excess causes excessive growth and delicate plants.

According to the manufacturer, 10 ml in 100 l of water raises the nitrate level by 10 mg/l. The manufacturer recommends using it together with AF Micro, AF PO4 Boost and AF K Boost, but not with other nitrogen-containing products, because of the risk of plant overgrowth and algae bloom.

Available in 250 ml, 500 ml and 2000 ml packs.
