Aquaforest K Boost Potassium Fertiliser

Aquaforest K Boost is an easily absorbed potassium fertiliser for aquatic plants. In the plant, potassium activates enzymes in many biochemical reactions. It is also responsible for osmotic regulation and the transport of compounds.

The fertiliser is intended for freshwater aquariums with live plants.

The potassium in the fertiliser is potassium sulfate. According to the manufacturer, this form is highly soluble. A potassium deficiency shows as yellowing of the leaf edges and tips, later followed by necrosis. According to the manufacturer, the potassium concentration in the aquarium should be 10–20 mg/l.

Add 1 ml per 10 l of aquarium water, which raises potassium by 5 mg/l. The manufacturer recommends using K Boost together with AF Micro, AF PO4 Boost and AF N Boost. Zeolite and carbon may reduce its effectiveness.

Available in 125 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 2000 ml packs.
