Aquaforest Macro Macronutrient Fertiliser

Aquaforest AF Macro is a highly concentrated basic fertiliser. It supplies aquarium plants with the macronutrients they need for intensive growth.

It is intended for heavily planted aquariums with a small number of fish.

It contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK), enriched with magnesium. According to the manufacturer, 1 ml of the fertiliser in 10 l of aquarium water raises the nitrate (NO3) level by 5 mg/l.

The manufacturer recommends 5 ml per 100 l of water twice a week, used together with AF Micro and AF Carbon Boost. Do not use other products containing macronutrients at the same time. According to the manufacturer, doing so risks overexposing the plants and causing an algae bloom. Zeolite and carbon may reduce the effect of the fertiliser.

Available in 250 ml, 500 ml and 2000 ml packs.
