Aquaforest Component C Iodine and Fluorine Supplement

Aquaforest Component C is an iodine and fluorine supplement that makes up minor shortages of these elements in a marine aquarium.

It suits mixed reef aquariums, including systems run with the Balling method.

Iodine takes part in cell function and nutrient transfer, fluorine in calcification and skeleton development. According to the manufacturer, the supplement keeps their content at the level of natural seawater and strengthens the blue and violet tones of hard corals and the white of SPS corals. According to the manufacturer, it is not meant for correcting single elements after an ICP analysis.

The manufacturer recommends 5 ml per 100 l of water once a week in a mixed reef aquarium, or 1 ml per 100 l for every 20 ppm of calcium consumed. With the Balling method, add 20 ml per 1 l of KH Buffer solution. Keep 5 minutes between doses of Components A, B and C and do not mix them in one container.
