Aquaforest Component B Heavy Metals Supplement

Aquaforest Component B is a heavy metals supplement for marine aquariums, designed to make up minor deficiencies of these elements.

It suits reef aquariums, both mixed reefs and systems run with the Balling method.

Component B contains cobalt, copper, chromium, manganese, zinc, nickel and iron in a ratio based on natural seawater. According to the manufacturer, it gives corals intense coloration, and its concentration lowers the chance of overdosing, so novice aquarists can use it too.

The manufacturer recommends 5 ml per 100 l of water once a week in a mixed reef, or 1 ml for every 20 ppm of calcium consumption per 100 l of water. With the Balling method, add 20 ml per 1 l of Calcium solution. Keep 5 minutes between doses of Components A, B and C, and do not overtighten the cap.
