Aquaforest Component 3+ Balling Method Magnesium Supplement 5 l

Component 3+ is the magnesium liquid of the Aquaforest Component 1+2+3+ system for reef aquariums, which is based on the Balling method. It contains magnesium, Reef Mineral Salt, potassium and boron; according to the maker, the Reef Mineral Salt helps to keep the aquarium parameters stable. The three liquids are dosed regularly in equal amounts and also supply elements that are hard to measure.

Set the dose by consumption and by calcium, magnesium and KH tests. A tank with an average number of hard corals needs about 25 ml of each component per 100 l daily, split into as many small doses as possible. Keep calcium at 380–460 ppm and magnesium at 1180–1460 ppm; if a parameter still drifts, keep the doses equal and correct it with Calcium, Magnesium or KH Buffer.
