Aquaforest Component 2+ Balling Method Alkalinity Supplement 5 l

Aquaforest Component 2+ is the KH liquid of the Component 1+2+3+ system for maintaining the alkalinity of seawater. The system's composition is based on the method of H. Balling.

The liquid is intended for marine aquariums. It is dosed together with Component 1+ and Component 3+ on a regular basis and in equal amounts.

Component 2+ contains sodium bicarbonate, fluorine and iodine. According to the manufacturer, 25 ml of the liquid per 100 l of water raises KH by 0.65 dKH, which corresponds to an alkalinity of 0.23 meq/l.

According to the manufacturer, a tank with an average number of hard corals needs about 25 ml of each component per 100 l daily. Split the daily dose into as many small portions as possible. Keep calcium at 380–460 ppm and magnesium at 1180–1460 ppm. If a parameter drifts, continue with equal doses and correct it with Calcium, Magnesium or KH Buffer.
