Aquaforest Component 1+ Balling Method Calcium Supplement 5 l

Aquaforest Component 1+ is the calcium liquid of the Component 1+2+3+ system for marine aquariums. The system's composition is based on the method of H. Balling, and the three liquids are dosed regularly in equal amounts.

The liquid is intended for marine aquariums and is used together with Component 2+ and Component 3+.

Besides calcium, Component 1+ contains strontium, barium and the elements Co, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ni, Cr and Mo. According to the manufacturer, 25 ml per 100 l of water raises calcium by 4.5 ppm.

Adjust the dose to consumption and to the calcium, magnesium and KH readings. According to the manufacturer, a tank with an average number of hard corals needs about 25 ml of each component per 100 l daily; split the daily amount into as many small doses as possible. Keep calcium at 380–460 ppm and magnesium at 1180–1460 ppm.
