Aquaforest Ca Plus Calcium Supplement (New Formula)

Ca Plus is a concentrated calcium solution for marine aquariums, made to make up calcium shortages and sudden drops. Calcium is needed for coral growth, and according to the maker a deficiency can slow or stop it. The product contains calcium chloride. How well it works depends on the right KH level, so the maker recommends using it together with a KH raiser such as KH Plus or KH Buffer.

This is the new formula, marked with a red badge on the label: 10 ml raises calcium by 20 mg/l (ppm) in 100 l of water. Keep calcium at 380–460 mg/l, and check that magnesium is in its recommended range before raising calcium or alkalinity.
