YOKUCHI Jiban Powder is a finer-grained version of Jiban Soil for high-tech aquariums.

It is made for aquariums with CO2 and strong lighting, and suits plants and fish from slightly acidic waters.

The fine, porous structure suits delicate plant roots. The substrate releases nutrients steadily, so frequent fertilising is not needed. Its high ion-exchange capacity stabilises water parameters and lowers GH, KH and pH. Microorganisms living in symbiosis with the plants support their growth, and the substrate is made by forming and sintering. It comes in 1 l and 4 l bags.

The substrate is ready to use and needs no rinsing or mixing with other substrates.
