YOKUCHI Gen P Phosphorus Liquid Phosphorus Fertiliser 400 ml

YOKUCHI Gen P Phosphorus is a liquid phosphorus fertiliser for aquarium plants.

It is made for planted aquariums, as according to the manufacturer tanks with many plants often run short of phosphorus. The plants then stop growing and turn lighter or darker depending on the species, older leaves may become coated with diatoms and brownish spots may appear on the leaves.

Phosphorus is a macronutrient involved in photosynthesis and other energy processes in the plant. It is part of nucleic acids and phospholipids and affects root development. Phosphorus moves easily within the plant, so the signs of a shortage appear first on older leaves. The fertiliser contains phosphorus in a readily absorbed form. The 400 ml bottle has a dispenser and treats up to 40 000 l of aquarium water.

Dose 1 click per 100 l of water daily, preferably near the filter outlet. With many plants, increase the dose accordingly.
