YOKUCHI Gen Nano N Nitrogen Liquid Nitrogen Fertiliser 30 ml

YOKUCHI Gen Nano N Nitrogen is a liquid nitrogen fertiliser for aquarium plants.

It is made for planted aquariums where the plants need nitrogen. According to the manufacturer, a lack of nitrogen often stops plant growth and turns the leaves yellowish, with older leaves yellower than new ones but not falling off.

Nitrogen is a macronutrient needed to build plant tissue. It is part of proteins, nucleic acids and chlorophyll. When nitrogen runs short, the plant starts drawing it from its older leaves, which turn yellow. The fertiliser contains nitrogen in a readily absorbed form. The bottle holds 30 ml, enough for up to 3300 l of aquarium water.

Dose 1 drop per 5 l of water daily, preferably near the filter outlet. With many plants, increase the dose accordingly.
