Description

Product overview

Utricularia graminifolia is an Asian plant of the bladderwort family. All plants in this family eat insects: they grow in nutrient-poor places in nature and soon form their characteristic bladder traps in the aquarium. In time the fresh green leaves form a lawn-like mat 2–8 cm tall – a good foreground plant, though rather demanding. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is an advanced plant (Advanced).

Key benefits

  • According to Tropica, after two months in the aquarium the plant is on average 3–10 cm tall or more.
