Hygrophila polysperma 'White'

Hygrophila polysperma 'White' is a selection developed in Tropica's greenhouses in Denmark. Grown above water it is light green; under water it develops a pale green and white pattern.

It suits the midground or background, where its light tones contrast with darker green and red plants; it grows slowly and adapts to a wide range of conditions. On Tropica's difficulty scale it is a medium plant (Medium).

It grows upright and branches well; regular trimming gives a compact, dense look, and good light strengthens the white pattern.

The plant is sold in a 1-2 Grow cup.
