NEO Soil Plant Planted Aquarium Substrate 8 l

NEO Soil Plant is an active soil substrate for planted aquariums, with components that support plant growth. Its two-component granules contain different soil types and are coated with sintered clay, which keeps them from breaking down even under a deep substrate layer in large aquariums.

Bacteria in the soil become active on contact with water, and the food source for nitrifying bacteria inside the granules speeds up the maturing of the aquarium. The substrate gently lowers the pH and hardness of the water; according to the manufacturer it also has an adsorbing effect, and water quality becomes stable about 7 days after filling. The pack holds 8 l.
