Frequently asked questions

What is a base grid for stones for?

The grid spreads the load of heavy stones more evenly over the bottom glass and holds them in place. Lay it on the bottom before the substrate.

How does a snail trap work?

You put bait in the trap and snails crawl to it overnight. In the morning, lift the trap out of the tank with the snails inside.

Aquarium care involves many small jobs that need no big device: precise dosing, catching pests, tidying hoses or anchoring plants. The right accessory saves time and helps you avoid mistakes that can harm fish and plants.

The range includes pipettes and a measuring cylinder, a snail trap and a planaria trap, a pad to stand the tank on, a base grid for stones, plant anchors and a hose holder. There is also a Bluetooth smart socket and a Wi-Fi gateway that let you switch aquarium equipment on and off from your phone.

Choose an accessory for the job you do most often. Always measure a fertiliser or treatment into a separate vessel and rinse the pipette after use. For a device run through a smart socket, check that its power stays within the socket's rated limit.
