The Juwel Rio 450 LED is a complete 450-litre aquarium with lighting, an internal filter and a heater. It measures 151 × 51 × 66 cm and weighs 83 kg; we stock it in black or white. According to the manufacturer, it also suits use as a marine aquarium. No cabinet is included – the matching cabinet is the Juwel SBX Rio 450.
The lid holds a MultiLux LED light with replaceable 1200 mm DAY and NATURE LED tubes. The light is fully waterproof, so you can work on the aquarium with the light on. The Bioflow XL internal filter with five filter media runs with a quiet Eccoflow 1000 pump, and the adjustable AquaHeat Pro 300 W heater sits in the filter's water flow.
A safety frame under the bottom keeps the aquarium stable. According to the manufacturer, a new filter takes 6–8 weeks to run in. The aquarium is made in Germany.
