Product overview
Juwel bioPlus coarse is the blue coarse-pore filter sponge for Juwel Bioflow filters, for mechanical and biological filtration. The coarse pores give a large surface and an even, relatively fast flow, which makes it especially suited to biological filtration in the aerobic zone. The pores are opened without chemicals, and it suits fresh and salt water.

The manufacturer recommends replacing the coarse blue sponge after about 3 months, but never all blue sponges at the same time.
