The sponge form gives an even flow and a large working surface; it suits fresh and salt water.
We stock sizes S 9.5 × 4.7 × 2.5 cm (Primo 110); M 9.5 × 9.5 × 2.5 cm (Rio 125/180/240, Lido 120/200); L 12.5 × 12.5 × 2.5 cm (Rio 350); XL 15 × 15 × 2.5 cm (Rio 450). Choose the size by your aquarium's Bioflow filter; the full compatibility table is on the manufacturer's page.
The carbon sponge is the chemical stage of the Bioflow filter; the manufacturer recommends replacing it about once a month if needed.
