The Juwel FilterGrid is a fine-mesh cover for the intake slots of Juwel Bioflow filters. It stops very small shrimps and fish from getting into the filter and fits the Bioflow Super, M, L and XL.
The parts measure 7 × 5.5 × 5.5 cm and 12 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm. Their special shape makes the top and side intake slots smaller but, according to the manufacturer, does not reduce the filter's flow rate.
The FilterGrid fits onto the filter's intake slots. If an EccoSkim is mounted on the filter, the FilterGrid cannot go on the same filter – then fix the EccoSkim to the glass with its suction mount.
