The lid holds a MultiLux LED light with replaceable 590 mm DAY and NATURE LED tubes. The light is fully waterproof, so you can work on the aquarium with the light on. The Bioflow M internal filter with five filter media runs with a quiet Eccoflow 500 pump, and the adjustable AquaHeat Pro 100 W heater sits in the filter's water flow.
A safety frame under the bottom keeps the aquarium stable. According to the manufacturer, a new filter takes 6–8 weeks to run in. The aquarium is made in Germany.
