JBL Manado Porous Plant Substrate

JBL Manado is a granulated, highly porous substrate that supports plant growth in the aquarium.

It suits planted aquariums and bottom-dwelling fish, as the porous substrate has no sharp edges.

Thanks to its porous structure the substrate absorbs surplus mineral compounds from the water and builds a long-term reserve of them in the substrate. It helps plants to root. It is a substrate for nitrifying bacteria, so according to the manufacturer the biological filtration surface in the aquarium increases several times. It comes in 3 l and 5 l packs.
