Description

Product overview

Aquaforest AF Rock Base is a handmade rock for building the aquascape of a marine aquarium and resembles natural rock from coral reefs. This box contains AF Rock pieces in the base shape only. The rock is intended for marine aquariums. In freshwater, use it only when the water pH is above 7.0.

Key benefits

  • According to the manufacturer, the high porosity gives bacteria room to settle, so the rock also works as a filter medium.
  • Unlike live rock, AF Rock brings in no organisms such as valonia, aiptasia, dinoflagellates, bryopsis or AEFW, according to the manufacturer.
  • According to the manufacturer, it helps stabilise pH and KH and shortens the maturation of the tank, especially with Bio S bacteria.
