AquaEL Pre-filter sponge ULTRAMAX

The AquaEL Pre-Filter Sponge Ultramax is a replacement prefilter sponge for the Ultramax 1000, 1500 and 2000 external filters (all versions) and the Ultramax BT. The prefilter sits in the filter lid and holds about 0.6 l.

The prefilter sponge traps larger debris before it reaches the filter baskets, so according to the manufacturer the filter needs cleaning less often. You do not need to take the filter out of the cabinet to clean it: lift the lid, take the sponge out of the basket and rinse it under running water.
