AquaEL UV STERILIZER AS - 3W LED

The AquaEL Sterilizer UV 3 W LED is a UV-C LED steriliser for small, medium and nano aquariums – the manufacturer recommends it for aquariums of up to 120 l. Water flows through the device's chamber in a thin layer, and the UV-C radiation of the LEDs destroys algae, bacteria and other harmful organisms.

According to the manufacturer, it does not harm fish, plants or nitrifying bacteria. The device draws only 3.5 W in total. The steriliser is fully water-tight (IPX8) and fits 16/22 mm hoses.

The manufacturer recommends fitting it on the outlet hose of an external filter, where the water is already at its clearest – for example on the Ultra 900/1200/1400 and Ultramax 1000/1500 filters. On the FZN PRO 700, 1000 and 1500 hang-on filters it attaches to the intake pipe. With its own power supply it can be switched off without taking the filter apart; if you like, connect it to a timer (not included).
