The AquaEL Filtration Sponge ASAP Standard is an original replacement sponge for the AquaEL ASAP – variants 300, 500 and 700 to match the filter model filter. It is made of carefully selected phenol-free foam: it traps visible dirt and suspended matter and is a surface for nitrifying bacteria. The ASAP sponge can be rinsed without taking the filter out of the tank.

The AquaEL Filtration Sponge ASAP Standard is an original replacement sponge for the AquaEL ASAP – variants 300, 500 and 700 to match the filter model filter. It is made of carefully selected phenol-free foam: it traps visible dirt and suspended matter and is a surface for nitrifying bacteria. The ASAP sponge can be rinsed without taking the filter out of the tank.
The manufacturer recommends replacing the sponges regularly and rinsing them only in old water drained from the aquarium during a water change.
